Minecraft has a ton of different mobs, tools, weapons, and features that make it so interesting and fun to play. From wolves to creepy, underground dwelling wardens, the list is considerably long. However, the developers at Mojang don't add every feature and mob they come up with. Many ideas are scrapped and only a select few get to the game.

Redditor _Hello_World_7 posted on Minecraft's subreddit, asking the community what scrapped feature they'd want to be added in the game in the future. The post also features some concept images of the potential mobs.

crisperstorm replied to their comment reciprocating the same thing. They said how wrong it was for Mojang to not add the crab as it was requested for so long. The idea of crabs in the game would be great as they can fill up the beach area and make it more interesting.

ThatNoname-Guy commented that they want giants in the game as they can be great bosses or mini-bosses. Interestingly, a Minecraft 3D artist recently made a concept mob by combining the warden and a dinosaur.

Giant hostile mobs would certainly be challenging to defeat and present a formidable challenge to the players. They can spawn during bad omen effects to make it more dangerous, and fun.

CreepersWizard mentioned they want the illusioner to be added in either raids or the woodland mansions, but Mojang says the mob needs a rework.

Malfuy replied to the comment taking a dig at the developers, saying how they took it out of the game as it needed rework but never really worked on it. FPSCanarussia mentioned they would like to see copper horns in the game again.

The Tricky Trials update was dropped for the public on June 13, 2024, and it brought some big changes to the game. The update added two new hostile mobs called the bogged and the breeze. The bogged is a skeleton variant while the breeze is a mini-boss that is considerably similar to the blaze.

Adding new mobs to the game takes time and effort and the developers at Mojang want to ensure that everything remains bug-free and works well with the game. Perhaps we might get to see some of the unused mobs in the next update.
