Minecraft might have received hundreds of updates over the years, but that does not mean the game is free of bugs. It often seems like new bugs and errors pop up every other day. However, most of these bugs are quite hilarious. From horses spinning around to problems in loading the mod texture making them look evil, these incidents in the game are a dime a dozen. And now, a new bug has been added to the list.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named SWA-E shared a short video clip on the game’s subreddit, showing the warden in an ancient city being attacked by an iron golem. While the iron golem is not nearly as strong as the warden, the video shows it defeating the formidable mob, thanks to a bug that tilts the golem and turns it red.

The video truly shows how dedicated the iron golem was to try and defeat a mob much stronger than itself. Another user named SovietMechblyat commented that the iron golem must have said “I didn’t hear no bell” referring to how the golem started walking towards the player to attack them as well.

User jhonatanss mentioned how the golem was ready for another fight and it had got the undead fight spirit. However, not all the discussions were about the bizarre nature of the video. Some players discussed the bug that caused all of this.

User Fuocomega_7 commented that they remembered there was a bug in the Bedrock Edition of the game where an entity would turn immortal when it was healed and killed at the same time.

User checkmatemypipi said that this would also happen on spigot/paper servers. Another user named bog5000 talked about something familiar. They shed light on another common bug that has not been fixed which turns the wolf’s color red when it is tamed while it becomes aggressive.

Interestingly, there was another post on the Minecraft subreddit talking about the bug wherein the wolf’s color changed permanently to red. It was first discovered in 2020 and has still not been fixed.

Bugs in Minecraft

Minecraft has a lot of bugs, and sometimes these bugs can hamper the gameplay experience. For example, a player shared a short video showing how after naming their horse, the horse would not stop spinning. It turns out that the horse was standing on top of an azalea plant, which causes mobs to spin.

Perhaps Mojang Studios could work on fixing all of these bugs in the upcoming Minecraft 1.22 update. But it seems very unlikely that all the errors will be fixed. All we can do is hope for the best and expect the only errors that remain are the funny ones.
