The official trailer for A Minecraft Movie has finally been released, and fans seem to love everything about it. The trailer shows more character interactions, items from the game, and even some crucial plot points. Players are also quite vocal about their appreciation for the movie.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/Extension-Studio3445 shared an image on the game's subreddit. The picture was a screenshot taken from the first trailer of A Minecraft Movie, featuring the iron golem.

The caption of the post stated that whatever the opinion of the movie may be, the iron golem looks really cool:

For those unaware, Mojang Studios and Warner Brothers recently released the first official trailer of the upcoming movie, which features new scenes showing many in-game items. The reaction from a majority of the fans indicates that they are loving it.

User u/Firm-Sun7389 commented:

“It looks good... BECAUSE ITS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE ITS GAME MODEL.”

The emphasis on the second part of their comment is because of the importance of staying true to the in-game design. The exciting thing about a movie based on Minecraft is seeing how the makers bring the items from the blocky game to the real world. Having a completely different design would dull the excitement.

Another user named u/skilledgamer55 pointed out that the makers went with the real iron color and texture instead of white, which is nice attention to detail:

User u/Independent_Army_886 highlighted that this is one of the few CGI mobs that looks both realistic and identical to its Minecraft counterpart.

User u/Cribsby_critter said they are not boarding the “hate train” many fans have taken for the film. The user called them 'insufferable' and said that this big-budget movie is based on their favorite game, which the makers appear to be taking very seriously:

Another user named u/ConstructionNo8451 agreed with the commenter. Meanwhile, user u/Hot-Hour77 said it's not the fans’ fault, as the teaser looked really bad when it was released over two months ago.

Earlier, the movie teaser drew criticism from Minecraft fans. The majority of the complaints were about the mobs' appearance. The sheep looked bizarre, the world looked fake, and Jack Black did not seem to fit the role of Steve. Players said that the iconic character from the game looked like Jack Black with a blue t-shirt.

However, it appears the trailer is changing the air around the upcoming movie. Another video released by the makers shows the set behind the scenes, leaving players impressed by the props and set design.
