MCC x Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party event is set to start today

Minecraft fans will be delighted to know that the game's 15th-anniversary celebration is not over yet. Mojang Studios has celebrated the occasion with many new launches, collaborations, in-game products, and the release of the Tricky Trials update. And now, fans and popular Minecraft streamers are getting ready for the upcoming MC Championship’s Ender Cup which will start streaming on July 27. But in the meantime, the MCC x Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party event is just about to start for the fans.

While the Ender Cup is an invite-only tournament where streamers can compete for the first spot, Mojang Studios has made sure that fans of the game do not feel left out of the action. The Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party brings many exciting things to do for all players and here’s everything you should know about it.

The Minecraft 15th Anniversary Party brings many exciting elements for everyone. There will be four different mini-games, each designed to specifically focus on different in-game skills such as parkour, combat, et cetera. Winning these games will give the players rewards which they can use at the in-game store to obtain special items such as hats, toys, and snacks, that come with special effects.

But here’s the most exciting part: Starting today, everyone who takes part in the event will get a cryptic challenge in the form of an image. Players will have to use their brains to decipher the message. They will have one week after getting all seven clues to piece everything together and complete the puzzles.

Solving this mystery and completing other subsequent challenges in the game will give the player the official MC Championship cape. The event starts today, July 22 at 10 am PST / 7 pm CET and will conclude on August 4, 3 pm PST / August 5 at 12 am CET. So, for players who want to participate in the event, now would be the time to gear up.

It is important to note that this event is only accessible via the Bedrock Edition of the game. This is not a problem as most of the platforms such as smartphones and consoles have the Bedrock Edition. For PC, Minecraft Java Edition comes bundled with Bedrock Edition at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, console players (PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox) will have to subscribe to their respective online gaming services such as PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass (or Live Gold), and Nintendo Switch Online as this is an online-only event.
