The Minecraft Bedrock Edition is infamous for being the edition with the most bugs and glitches. Although some bugs can completely ruin the gaming experience, players need to cut developers some slack since Bedrock Edition is created to work on many devices. Therefore, fixing the bugs for all platforms is expected to take a lot of time.

With another new minor update titled 1.21.2, the Bedrock Edition receives a bunch of bug fixes but no additional features. The update having bug fixes only indicates that the developers are working hard to make the new 1.21 features as stable and playable as possible.

In this article, we delve into all the bugs that have been fixed in the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.2 update and discuss how the fixes will affect gameplay.

The Minecraft 1.21 update was released not too long ago, and the developers have already released a few betas and a stable hotfix update for Bedrock users. The stable update promises to fix a handful of new bugs that were introduced with the 1.21 update, in the hope of making the new features more enjoyable.

Here are all the bugs fixed in the new Minecraft 1.21.2 Bedrock update:

Ominous trial spawner

Ominous trial spawners in Minecraft 1.21 are new spawner blocks that can be found exclusively in the trial chambers when a player with a bad omen effect comes near a trial spawner.

This block is designed to spawn mobs in waves, all of which the player needs to defeat to acquire the block's reward. A bug preventing mobs spawned from the block from picking up the weapons on the ground has been fixed with this hotfix update.

Although the probability of a spawned mob picking up a weapon is very low, since players typically won't willingly throw their weapon, this fix was important to address situations where a mob picks up a weapon dropped by a recently killed one.

Ominous vault

The ominous vault is a new block that, unlike loot chests found in structures, rewards players when they unlock it using an ominous trial key. This rare block, for some unexplained reason, had different drop rates for rare and common loot in the Java and Bedrock Editions.

The loot table in Bedrock Edition was set to make rare items appear 20% of the time and common items appear 80% of the time, which was surprisingly the complete opposite of what is seen in the Java Edition

This disparity was apparently a bug that has now been fixed. This means that Bedrock players now have an 80% chance of getting rare items and a 20% chance of getting common items from the ominous vault.

Trial spawners

The trial spawners function the same as the previously mentioned ominous variant, except it spawns weaker mobs and has quality loot. The Bedrock 1.21.2 update fixes a major bug causing the trial spawner to not eject loot.

This was a vital fix since most players visit the trial chambers for loot, and the bug was preventing them from getting it even after slaying mobs.
