Coming to what the update brings, the blocky world will be getting the hostile Creaking mob that will spawn in the Pale Garden, a new overworld biome. As the name suggests, the new biome has a desaturated appearance. During the day, nothing much happens here and it is mostly barren.

However, things take a scary turn at night. The Creaking Heart activates, spawning the Creaking mob. This is an exciting addition as it forces players to get creative with their combat. The mob does not attack as long as eye contact is maintained. Once broken, it goes into hostile mode.

What’s interesting is that the Creaking does not take any damage, no matter what weapon is used. The only way to defeat it is by breaking the Creaking Heart. Players must find it even when the hostile mob is chasing them. This will make navigating the Pale Garden more challenging at night.

The developers at Mojang Studios have made sure that there is enough incentive for players to visit the new biome. Breaking the Creaking Heart will give the resin block.

This is a new building block that can be put inside the furnace to get resin bricks. The biome will also have the eyeblossom flower that can be used to make gray or orange dye, depending on when the flower is broken.
