Minecraft's The Garden Awakens update for Android will be officially released on December 3, 2024, at 11 am ET. Though Mojang has not officially announced any release time for the update, the official soundtrack EP for the update was recently updated on Spotify, which showcased that it will drop at 11 am ET. This confirmed the release time of the update itself.

All major features coming with Minecraft 1.21.50 update

The Garden Awakens Drop started off with two major features: Creaking mob and Pale Garden biome.

The new biome will be an eerie forest that has completely desaturated trees, moss blocks, grass blocks and unique eyeblossom flowers. Even the sky will go gray once players enter the area. At night, the new Creaking mob will spawn and hunt players only when it is not visible on their screen. Furthermore, it can only be killed when its heart is destroyed, which is essentially out of its body in the form of a block in one of the pale oak trees.

The pale oak trees are new to the game and will offer players a new wood set that is white in color. When the player tries to hit the Creaking mob at night, its heart block will secrete a new resource called resin. This material will deposit on adjacent pale oak tree logs and can be obtained. Resin clumps can then be smelted into resin bricks to make new building blocks that are bright orange in color.
