Minecraft 1.21, also known as Tricky Trials, brought with it a huge spread of new content for players to experiment with. While the features Mojang decided to show off in trailers were large, such as trial chambers, new mobs, status effects, and potions, there are also four new achievements for completionists to go for while playing.

Everything players need to know about these new achievements can be found below. This includes how to get the achievement, the mechanics surrounding each new enchantment, and the gamerscore and trophy information for the achievement.

How to get all four of the new Minecraft 1.21 achievements

The first of the new 1.21 Bedrock achievements is ReVaulting. This achievement is obtained by opening an ominous vault using an ominous Minecraft trial key. These are rare trial key variants obtained from defeating ominous trial spawners, which are, in turn, more difficult trial spawner variants activated by entering a trial chamber with the revamped bad omen status effect.

Every defeated ominous trial spawner has a 30% chance of dropping an ominous key, meaning that it's only a matter of time before players get one. Getting the achievement is simple; players only need to interact with an ominous vault while holding a key to open it.

The next new achievement is Crafters Crafting Crafters. This name is quite apt, as players will need to be standing near a Minecraft crafter as it crafts another crafter to get this achievement.

Thankfully, though, the game doesn't check to see if the ingredients for the new crafter were loaded using redstone or anything like that. This means players can simply place all the needed ingredients into a crafter and then use a button to quickly spit out a second hopper. This should be more than enough to unlock this achievement.

Who Needs Rockets? is the third of the new achievements. It's also the simplest and easiest to get of the four. Players need only send themselves upwards eight blocks into the air using a wind charge to unlock it.

Wind charges are quite easy to obtain. They can be crafted using the breeze rods dropped by the new breeze mob. Alternatively, they can be found as loot items in both regular and ominous Minecraft vaults.

Getting the achievement once wind charges are obtained is a breeze (pun intended). Crouching and jumping at the same time as throwing a wind charge straight down will send players upwards of a dozen or more blocks into the air, more than enough to unlock this achievement.

Over-Overkill

The final 1.21 achievement is Over-Overkill. This is obtained by dealing at least 50 hearts of damage in a single hit using a new Minecraft mace weapon. Thankfully, there's a calculator for mace damage on the game's wiki, making this achievement much easier to get. Dealing 50 hearts of damage with a base mace requires a 13.33 block fall, while density V reduces the needed fall to only 4.74 blocks.

Both falls are surprisingly short for the immense damage dealt. However, these falls also assume critical hits, which should be taken into account. The easiest way to trap a hostile Minecraft mob, for easy mace targets, is to place down a pressure plate surrounded by trapdoors.
