Minecraft has received a series of updates and bug fixes to make the game perform better, look smoother, and have more features. Yet, despite years of great updates, one aspect always feels dated and subpar: the game's basic textures and animations. The animations, in particular, feel jarring and stiff, and not of the level one expects from a game in 2024.

Thankfully, a great resource pack for the Minecraft Bedrock edition not only fixes the dated animations of the Vanilla version but is perhaps the best animation and texture resource pack for the game. It improves every animation and makes the game feel fluid and modern.

Here’s everything about the Actions & Stuff resource pack for the Bedrock edition.

As the name suggests, the Minecraft Actions & Stuff resource pack improves the in-game animation of various actions and the texture of various items. What’s great about the texture pack is it doesn't drastically change how the game looks but improves all the elements that need improvement.

One great example is the mace in Minecraft, which was added with the Tricky Trials update; while it's a great weapon, the only issue with it is how it looks - flat. Thankfully, this texture pack makes the mace 3D, something many players want.

But the star of the show is the animations it brings to the game. From running, walking, and crouching to swimming and eating, everything has new and better animation. The movements look realistic and fluid and are a big step up from the stock animations.

The animation pack pays great attention to the little details. For example, when a player jumps in the water, drops splash out. The eating animation is also more realistic, while the new weapons animations make the players' sword, mace, and bow and arrow movements look more realistic.

The Actions & Stuff resource pack was officially listed on Planet Minecraft as a beta version but, as of now, it has been taken down. The reason was not disclosed, but the developers of the resource pack have confirmed that the Minecraft Actions & Stuff resource pack will be available on Minecraft Marketplace in the future.

Whether the resource pack will be free to download or paid is yet to be seen. But even if the pack comes for a price, it will be well worth it for bringing such refreshing and much-needed changes.
