Mojang has recently announced it will let Minecraft Bedrock Edition pack creators use dynamic world technology for their custom packs. This will allow the pack to custom-generate each and every world players create, giving them a unique experience every time. The first pack that uses this technology has already been released on the marketplace.

Here's everything about the new dynamic worlds feature made publicly available for Minecraft Bedrock Edition packs.

What is dynamic worlds?

If players have made a new world in Minecraft, they've encountered a dynamic world. Although the blocks, mobs, structures, and biomes in each world are always the same, they will generate in entirely different orders and combinations in every new world. In essence, worlds are progressively generated as players explore and load chunks inside them.

Each world has a different kind of cave system, woodland mansion location, and coral reef that a player finds, which keeps the exploration aspect of the game fresh.

Simply put, a dynamic world is a feature that allows the game to create brand-new worlds every single time.

Soon after Bedrock Edition was released, Mojang introduced a marketplace for it, where third-party feature developers can create several packs for the game and sell them or distribute them for free.

In the past, several mod developers created entire worlds with various features players can purchase and enjoy. However, each world a player creates is exactly the same as before, with the same location for a structure, biome, mob, etc.

Mojang now allows pack and mod developers to use dynamic technology in their own add-ons, changing how custom Minecraft worlds are generated.

Now, each of the custom worlds that is generated will have unique terrain, biome, and structure generation.
