After releasing The Garden Awakens Drop in Minecraft, Mojang took to their official social media platforms to talk about two new character customization goodies. The new drops are in collaboration with Twitch, making them redeemable through the streaming platform. These customizations are only available on the title's Bedrock Edition.
One of the redeemable accessories is a mask that is made up of the new pale hanging moss vines and is completely gray in color. The second accessory is an emote in which the in-game character runs in circles with its hands up in the air out of fear.
How to redeem the Moss Mask and the "Ahhhhh!" emote
While introducing these customizations, Mojang also explained how they can be redeemed through Twitch. To redeem them, players first need to start watching a Twitch partner or affiliate channel streaming Minecraft. There are many content creators who stream the game and have the option to turn on Minecraft drops on their stream.
Here are the steps to get both the character customization accessories in Minecraft's Bedrock Edition:
- Sign in to Twitch.
- Search for any streamer playing Minecraft with drops enabled.
- Enable drops and start watching the streamer.
- Watch the stream for ten minutes to get the Moss Mask redeem code in the drops menu on Twitch.
- To get the "Ahhhhh!" emote, buy any level of subscription of a Twitch streamer who has drops enabled and is playing the game.
Once players get both the redeem codes for character customization accessories, they can head to the redeem page on Minecraft's official website. Players can scroll down to the end to find the area to input redeem codes for the rewards.
After redeeming, players will automatically find these rewards in Bedrock Edition's dressing room area.
