A new Minecraft Bedrock hotfix arrived on July 9, 2024, in the form of Bedrock version 1.21.2. This quick fix addresses a few of the more problematic bugs that have cropped up since the Tricky Trials update was first released. There's also a small addition made to the in-game API as it regards the server UI beta, but fans shouldn't expect any massive content additions in this patch.

With that in mind, it doesn't hurt to examine the patch notes for Bedrock 1.21.2 and take a look at how to download it across its compatible platforms including consoles, Windows 10/11 PCs, and Android/iOS mobile devices.

As previously noted, Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.2 is a small hotfix to address a few major bugs regarding trial chambers and the blocks within while also making a small introduction to the server UI beta. Otherwise, fans won't notice many differences. Regardless, they can find the full list of patch notes below:

  • Mobs spawned by ominous trial spawners will now appropriately pick up loose items on the ground.
  • Rare loot dispensed by ominous vaults now has an 80% chance of being made available compared to ~20%.
  • A bug has been fixed where trial spawner blocks wouldn't dispense loot after being defeated on older game worlds.
  • The UIManager class and uiManager object have been added to the API's @minecraft/server-ui beta.
