Minecraft players are beyond excited for the release of the Bundles of Bravery update. The update incorporates bundles into the game, an item that players have been waiting for years. While the official name of the update was announced during the Minecraft Live event, the developers did not reveal its release date. On the other hand, Mojang has been dropping multiple pre-release updates for both the Java and Bedrock editions.

The Java Edition received four pre-releases while the Minecraft Bedrock Edition has had five beta releases. With every pre-release and beta, the developers iron out bugs and errors in the upcoming features to make sure the update process remains smooth.

So far, everything seems to be going fine with the pre-releases. We can soon expect the first and second release candidates to be released and if things go well, Mojang might release the Bundles of Bravery update by the end of October.

What Bundles of Bravery brings to the game

Bundles are one of the most exciting and impactful items coming to the title. Players have been asking for additions similar to the shulker box for years. The shulker box allowed players to organize items and store more of them without using up inventory space. However, the shulker box could only be obtained in the very late stages of the game, rendering them pointless for many players.

The bundle item changes this since it is quite easy to craft and requires just leather and strings to craft. Both the raw materials are easily available even during early gameplay. Another interesting aspect of bundles is that it is dyeable, helping players organize their items better. This item, which was announced way back in 2020, can hold up to 64 items and it took Mojang Studios four years to add it.

Developers will also add the Hardcore mode to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This will allow Bedrock players to try the tough version of Survival mode and challenge themselves.
