The composter in Minecraft can be crafted very easily. You just need a crafting table and a few basic resources. To craft the composter in Minecraft, you will need the following materials:

  • Crafting table
  • 6 wood slabs

Here's how you can craft a composter in Minecraft:

Open the crafting table and place six wood slabs in a U pattern to craft the composter. After the composter is crafted, transfer it to your inventory. You can now place the composter anywhere you wish to use it.

The primary use of the composter is in making bone meal. You can craft bone meal in the composter by composting items such as apples, moss blocks, baked potatoes, cake, and more.

Take the item(s) you wish to compost and place seven layers of it in the composter. After placing seven layers of the items, interact with the composter and place a final layer of the item(s) to get a bone meal as the output. Here is a list of compostable objects in Minecraft:
