The blocky world of Minecraft is filled with surprises, where players amaze the entire community with something creative. In one such instance, a Reddit user, u/No_Imagination_Here, created a unique mini-game set inside a storage chest.
The Minecraft player shared a short video on the game's subreddit, showcasing the surprisingly fun mini-game inspired by classic arcade games of the 80s. The objective is to collect good items while avoiding the harmful ones.
The storage grids and columns work as the play area. The lowermost grid contains a blaze to indicate the end line. Players need to quickly collect good items such as cakes, diamonds, totems of undying, etc. They also need to avoid dangerous items such as spider eye, poisonous potato, and rotten flesh. It’s a mini-game that requires quick reaction and attention.

Reacting to this video, user u/Lazy_Associate_666 said that the username of the original poster is not justified. Hilariously, the OP is named “no imagination” but making something like this would require a good amount of it. The commenter also asked how they make it, and where they can get it.
Another user named u/thekeenancole said that it looks very cool. They also wondered if the classic game Space Invaders could be made in the chest. For those who are not aware, Space Invaders is an arcade game that utilizes a grid-like play space with a spaceship shooting beams to destroy incoming alien invaders.
User u/Counter_zero questioned the original poster about naming the spider eye “Australia,” humorously adding that things aren’t too bad in the country. The OP replied saying that the reason behind doing so was that Australia has a lot of spiders. They wanted to give it a unique name and did so. However, they will be changing it soon.
User u/Counter_zero added that people usually exaggerate the dangers of living in Australia. While the continent does have some dangerous spiders, they pointed out that it typically comes down to just four or five species, with most others being harmless.
Brilliant creations in Minecraft
This is not the first time someone has made a mini-game inside Minecraft and impressed the community. A few months back, another user had created a playable version of the popular Minesweeper game inside the blocky world. Unlike using the storage chest, the user made a large display using complicated redstone contraptions.

All of these builds just show how interesting and incredibly powerful Minecraft can be. It allows players to make almost anything, from large castles, cities, and even countries to complicated machines and computers.
