A Minecraft player recreated the Sniffer mob into a deadly Warden-inspired sculk mob. Since the deep dark biome does not have any mob apart from the terrifying Warden, many in the community have thought of what other sculk-made mobs would look like. Hence, a Sniffer was recently made into a spooky creature that can kill players.
Redditor u/realali8888 posted the clip of a sculk Sniffer on the game's official subreddit.

How Minecraft player recreated a sculk-inspired Sniffer
In the clip that showcased the sculk-made Sniffer, the player essentially retextured the Warden itself to look like the ancient mob.
The video starts off with a completely retextured Sniffer that is no longer green and red. Rather, it looked like it was made up of sculk blocks. The mob's face was bone-colored. The way it came out of the ground clearly indicated that it was modeled after Warden's behavior.
After spawning, it walked around the area and sniffed out the player, which is what a regular Warden does. After it aggroed on the player, the sculk-inspired Sniffer started running toward the player and began melee attacking. Soon enough it shot sonic booms as its ranged attack to kill the explorer.
The Sniffer fits perfectly in the deep dark biome since, similar to Warden, it also relies on its nose to sniff around the Minecraft world.
Since Sniffer does not spawn naturally in the Overworld and needs to be found as an egg, the egg itself can be found in the Ancient City which is corrupted by the sculk infestation. Furthermore, these eggs generated in the old structure fit perfectly with the mob since they are considered ancient beings as well.
Other mobs with sculk variants can increase the allure of the deep dark biome
Similar to how the Minecraft player reimagined a Sniffer as a scary sculk-inspired mob, several other creatures in the game could also have a more scary variant made up of sculk. It will further add to the virus-like effect the sculk shows, as it spreads around the underground caves, like an infestation.
Mobs like wolves, enderman, slimes, etc., can also be added to the deep dark biome to increase the immersion of the scary underground region.
These new mobs can then be part of a new deep dark dimension that many in the community have speculated about ever since Mojang Studios introduced Ancient Cities. As of this writing, however, the developers have not yet mentioned anything about a new dimension inspired by sculk infestation.
