Minecraft completed its 15th year in the gaming industry and released the much-awaited Tricky Trials update to make this feat even more exciting. The update added some exciting features to the game, including a new weapon called the mace. While the 1.21 update has been a soaring success with all the features being loved by the fans, people have already started making their wish list for the next update.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user by the name of Puzzleheaded-Map1757 shared an image on the subreddit of Minecraft with the caption asking what players would want in the future update of the game. The post has almost 2,000 comments suggesting that the wish list is quite long.

One of the most upvoted comments came from user Traditional-Lake-541, who said Mojang Studios should make the minecarts faster in the next update. This has been something players have asked for a long time. Minecarts in the game are really slow, which defeats the purpose of investing in building a track network for it.

Another most upvoted comment was less of a suggestion and more of a demand. User Illustrious-Horse925 commented that Mojang Studios should add a “letting us play on offline mode” update. This comes after Microsoft’s server's malfunction that prevented players from signing in to their account and playing the game, even in offline mode.

User DecmysterwasTaken wanted something that completely changes a particle section of the game, just like how the 1.16 update revamped the Nether and made it feel much better than before.

User AccessProfessional37 had a very interesting take on the new updates. They want them to bring something that is already present when someone loads the game. New content such as trial chambers, ancient cities, etc all require players to explore to find which makes them feel more like new additions rather than updates.

User DaOogieBoogie replied to the comment saying it gets annoying how every update adds something rare to find and the players have to either explore the world for hours to find the new content or just look it up on Chunkbase which takes the fun out of the whole thing.

User ManateeMan4 said they want an ambiance update with new plants, animals, sound effects, particles, etc. An update that would make the world feel alive. They also mentioned if snowy biomes could have the Northern Lights occasionally, it would be even better.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as many users have suggested something or the other that they would love to see implemented in the new update.

With the Tricky Trials update being a hit, fans are expecting the next update to bring even better content to the game. Despite the game getting tons of improvements, there are many places where Minecraft can improve. One of these areas is wildlife. The biomes feel empty and dead with a severe lack of animals.

Perhaps the next update should focus on improving the ambiance of the game by adding animal sounds and perhaps some animal mobs as well. There are some great mods and add-ons available on Minecraft Marketplace that add all these things to the game, but it would be interesting to see what Mojang Studios comes up with.
