Minecraft fans can now get a Back to School collection

One of the best parts about summer coming to a close is that Mojang has returned from its break and is actively working on Minecraft once again. However, for many fans of the game, the end of summer is much less a cause for celebration, as it marks the start of school. Thankfully, Mojang has just announced a Back to School collection, allowing players to bring some of the game into their education.

Headphones

One of the most interesting products released with the Minecraft Back to School collection is a new set of headphones. Specifically, Mojang has partnered with Beats to release a new style of Solo 4s, featuring a stylish minimalistic black and green creeper design.

Music can be an incredibly helpful tool when studying, making these headphones a great pick for students.

Controllers

Speaking of technology, Mojang has also released a new controller to go alongside the Beats headphones. Rather than the minimalistic creeper style, this controller features a rendition of an in-game forest biome. There's also a small 3D figurine of Steve included in the controller's left handle, which makes the device much cooler-looking.

While a controller might not seem particularly school-related, Mojang has made an effort to incorporate educational elements into their games, which can be seen in releases like Minecraft Education Edition.

There is also a fun new novel, titled Minecraft: The Tournament, written by DaVaun Sanders, within the Back to School collection. As the name suggests, this book tells the story of a player attempting to win a competitive tournament centered on the game. Unfortunately, though, due to unforseen circumstances, they're forced to team up with their father against the other competitors.

Mojang is continuously pushing Minecraft as a way to expand creativity and also produce ways for players to learn. Reading is a great way to do both of these things, making this book a great back-to-school choice for fans.

Glue Sticks

Mojang is also releasing a set of themed glue sticks as part of this Back to School collection. These glue sticks are adorned with different Minecraft mobs, like wolves, spiders, default player characters, skeletons, zombies, endermen, and creepers.

There are six total designs for these gluesticks. They are sold in packs of five or eight, with the latter containing at least one of each different design, making it the better choice for potential collectors.

The final items mentioned in Mojang's initial collection announcement are a range of backpacks created as part of a partnership with SprayGround. Backpacks are inarguably one of the most important parts of any back-to-school kit, meaning that finding the right one is vital.

One of these designs features Minecraft's iconic ender dragon, just above a shark mouth. The next is a collage of different items, mobs, and other game-related things, separated by a shark mouth. The third features the creeper texturing pattern, broken up once again by this shark mouth. The final bag is slightly different, as it's shaped like a teddy bear and has a creeper face.
