Minecraft fans consider vexes to be the most annoying mob

Minecraft has a lot of mobs and some of them are extremely useful. Some mobs are passive and do not offer much value. Then some are just hostile. However, there is one creature in the blocky world that may have gotten on nerves of players.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/No_Cabinet_1315 started a discussion on the Minecraft subreddit. The topic of the discussion was the vex mob, and how the original poster considered them to be the worst mob in the blocky world. They mentioned that the reason behind it was these mobs could fly through walls with iron swords and have a very small hitbox.

Reacting to this post, user u/FPSCanarussia said that the only good thing about the vex mob is that they are not independent and are summoned by the Evoker mob. This is a silver lining as having vexes as an independent mob would have made things even worse.

Another user named u/lance_the_fa***s said that it would be much better if the vexes mob would fall dead once the evoker was killed. However, this does not happen and players need to kill each vex out in the sky to get rid of them.

User u/TotemRiolu said that vexes should drop dead once the summoner is killed, as the summoner’s magic is behind the vex mob being alive. User u/WrongEinstein agreed with this idea. They also stated how they have died in the game many times, even after defeating the summoner.

The original poster replied saying phantoms have a larger hitbox, cannot go through walls and also do less damage, making the vex more annoying.

Mojang Studios will soon add a new mob in the game, along with a new biome. The Creaking mob will arrive with the Pale Garden biome in the Winter Drop update. The addition of new mobs has got players thinking about the developers updating the already present mobs. Mobs like the Phantom and the Vex need some rework to make them more interesting.

With some recent snapshots, the developers improved the minecarts, making them faster and more useful. This has given a new hope that perhaps Mojang Studios will focus more on improving these long-ignored features of the game.
