New mobs in Minecraft are always an exciting addition as they make the game more interesting. They even make the experience more challenging if the creature is a hostile one. The Minecraft 1.21 Tricky Trials update added two new hostile mobs, the bogged and the breeze, and fans are loving them. This new addition got many of them thinking, what should be the next mob that Mojang Studios should add in the upcoming update?
A Reddit user named Itzdraco12 took to the game's subreddit and posted the same question for the Minecraft community to answer. With almost 500 comments, it was evident that fans had a lot of ideas brewing. Perhaps the developers at Mojang Studios could take some notes?

When talking about new Minecraft mob concepts, u/AAN_006 commented that the game really needs more birds as there are just two at the moment. They also expressed their disappointment at how a vulture has not been added yet.
Another user named PocketPoof commented how vultures would be a great addition to the badlands and desert biomes as they like bones. They could thus attack skeletons and pick up the dropped bones.
This is an interesting take as the desert and badland biomes are fairly desolated. Adding vultures and other biome-specific mobs would be a great way of making these areas feel true to nature and more interesting to explore.
User xX_Shoormslayer_Xx wrote a lengthy paragraph explaining how they would like the game to have more hostile fantasy mobs such as the newly added breeze. The gist behind this idea is that hostile fantasy mobs drop interesting items and make exploration fun. Adding non-hostile animals limits the potential of the mobs.
Another user named Depression_141 mentioned something similar. They said Minecraft should have more fantasy-like animals such as the ravager, phantom, and hoglins, or perhaps more prehistoric animals such as the sniffer. They also mentioned that the game could also add the iceologer.
For those who don’t know, the iceologer is a illager variant that is found in Minecraft Dungeons and may potentially be added to the main game in the future.
User LosParanoia said they want a somewhat rare mini-boss that would drop a golden apple when killed. Another fan named Venomspino mentioned how they had a great idea of adding two Venus flytrap-like creatures in the lush caves where one would be a biter and the other would be a long-range spitter.
New mobs in Minecraft
The newly-added bogged and the breeze mob have made the game more interesting and challenging. The former is a new skeleton variant that can be found in swamps and the trial chambers, while the breeze spawns exclusively in the trial chambers.
But with the new mobs added, fans are eagerly anticipating what Mojang Studios will cook up for the next major update. The game can always do great with more mobs as they make it more immersive and fun. Perhaps the developers should consider adding multiple creatures rather than a single one to make the next update an even bigger hit than Minecraft 1.21 Tricky Trials.
