Minecraft Live 2024 likely won't be along for a few more months, but there are plenty of things players would like to see when the event kicks off. A new major content update is almost a certainty in these Live events, but players now have a detailed wishlist of changes and new features they would love to see implemented in-game in the near future.

Players have their preferences and tastes that help shape what they want to see during Minecraft Live, but some fans have mentioned certain additions to their Live 2024 wishlist time and time again to the point where they've generated quite a bit of buzz ahead of the yearly event.

Many might fondly remember the 1.16 Nether Update in which the Nether dimension was made much more appealing and worthwhile thanks to a top-down overhaul. Now, players want a similar update for the End dimension, and even though the End is intended to be quite empty, it's a bit too empty for most. Hence, for years, Minecraft fans have asked Mojang to take another look at this dimension.

Perhaps 2024 will be the year when everything comes together perfectly at Minecraft Live 2024. But, something as massive as an End overhaul is far from a certainty, so players may not want to get their hopes up too much until the announcement is made for certain.

More News on the Minecraft Movie

Although an official Minecraft movie is slated to be released in April 2025, fans haven't heard much about the film in quite some time. While some are likely more concerned about the game series than anything else, Live 2024 deals with the entire franchise, including potential representations of the game in other mediums.

Given how successful and popular a movie centered on Mojang's sandbox game could potentially be, fans will certainly want more information on it beyond what has been presented thus far.

While this is more of a pipe dream than a realistic possibility, many fans are simply tired of the yearly Minecraft Mob Vote. For a myriad of reasons, players have claimed that the yearly Mob Vote is unfair to the community. Apart from accusations of the vote being rigged, some believe Mojang should release all three mob contestants instead of forcing players to pick one.

While Mojang seems very dedicated to the annual Mob Vote, the yearly backlash and boycotts have been mounting. Even though these might only represent a fraction of the fanbase, the vote may be starting to give developers more trouble than it's worth.
