How did the Minecraft Live leak occur

Mojang Studios announced that they will be hosting their annual live event on September 28, 2024. This will be one of the two live events they host in a year, as mentioned earlier in a blog post. In the official trailer of the live event, the developer revealed nothing except for the date and time.

They created a webpage on their official site for the live event but did not add anything major before the event itself.

On September 24, 2024, however, they accidentally updated the webpage and added details and sections that were meant to be added after the live event itself. This page had information that Mojang Studios was planning to reveal during the event. Since many follow the game and open its website, people were quick to look at all the details and leak information through social media.

What details regarding Minecraft Live 2024 were leaked

As mentioned above, the name of the next game drop and the majority of its key features were revealed when information about the next live event was leaked the official Minecraft website.

Bundles and Bravery was the name of the update that was referenced on the compromised webpage. Based on that, it can be inferred that the eagerly anticipated bundles will eventually be released in the upcoming game drop from Mojang Studios.

Additionally, Pale Garden, a new biome, was also mentioned on the webpage. Nevertheless, it's unclear to what realm it would be added. Fans have speculated that it might be an End or the Overworld realm biome. Additionally, a new hostile mob that will appear in the new biome, The Creaking, was mentioned on the webpage as well.

The leak also showed that Mojang Studios will talk about developing bundles for several years, bringing the hardcore mode to Bedrock Edition, giving exclusive news about the upcoming Minecraft movie, and even the new Minecraft Experience tour taking place in Dallas, Texas.
