Mojang Studios posted an image showing an evidence board via the. official X handle of Minecraft. The board was filled with classified documents to add to the effect. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the photo in the middle of the board. It shows three pixels with a reddish-orange glow in the dark.
Interestingly, this image has been taken from a TikTok post shared by the official MC account. The caption on the post stated, “Don’t look away…or else.” This might be a hint of teasing about how the Creaking mob would interact with the player. Perhaps, the players have to keep the mob in sight or it will attack them.
Coming back to the X post, the caption of the image joked about speculating what the new update will add to the game. Some users had great ideas about the implementation of the mob. For example, X user u/CloudFuel mentioned that Mojang Studios should make the portal in the Ancient Cities usable, leading to a new dimension with a new hostile mob in it.
Recently, the official MC Live website accidentally leaked the upcoming mob on their webpage. The page stated that the event will feature the first look at the “pale garden” and the hostile mob “creaking” in it. When astute fans took notice of this mishap, the webpage was taken down and replaced with an edited version without any mention of the pale garden or the creaking.
