Not too long ago, Mojang announced a brand new Overworld biome called Pale Garden in their annual Minecraft Live event. They explained the overall mood of the new biome and how it would spawn the new Creaking mob as well. As with most new features by the developers, the community discusses it and finds existing features that could blend well with it.
With Pale Garden, many felt that the white pumpkin feature from Minecraft's Story Mode would fit perfectly in the upcoming new region.
Note: The feature discussed below is not officially announced as a feature by Mojang and is only a community-made theory.

White Pumpkins from Minecraft Story Mode would perfectly fit in the Pale Gardens
What is White Pumpkin from Minecraft Story Mode?
Minecraft Story Mode was a story-driven game from Telltale Games that was made in collaboration with Mojang. The story had several protagonists and antagonists as well. In it's sixth episode of the first season called A Portal to Mystery, the heroes of the series encounter an antagonist by the name of White Pumpkin, whose real identity is Cassie Rose.
She was essentially a serial killer who dwells in her mansion filled with booby traps. She mainly wanted an enchanted flint and steel with which she could go back to her home. In her villainous appearance, she wore a white pumpkin on her head. In Cassie's mansion, there is also a farm of white pumpkins, making it a regular block in Story Mode as well.
How white pumpkins go perfectly with Pale Garden
Mojang recently revealed the new Pale Garden biome for Minecraft. They also showcased the fresh white wood block set that players can obtain through pale oak trees. Many in the community felt that white pumpkins from Minecraft Story Mode could be a great addition to the new biome.
While some discussed it on forums, others added custom white pumpkins to the snapshots with Pale Gardens and placed them in the new region.
Since the white pumpkin denotes a villain in the Story Mode it fits in the Pale Garden, hinting players that something is off in the new biome. Furthermore, these white pumpkins can be a brand new vegetation that can grow solely in the new biome, urging players to further explore and obtain it.
