Features of the Minecraft Passive Skill Tree mod
The Minecraft Passive Skill Tree mod essentially allows you to hone and unlock specific skill sets that can augment your gameplay and impact your performance. These skills are divided into the following six major classes:
- Hunter
- Enchanter
- Cook
- Blacksmith
- Miner
- Alchemist
Each class has its perks and features. You can choose only one class and as you progress, you can connect the pathway to other classes. You have a maximum of 85 skill points which you can spread out across various branches of the Skill Tree mod.
Additionally, you can use the Wisdom scroll to gain more XP to use in the skills tree. If you wish to reset your research in the Minecraft Passive Skill Tree mod, you can craft the Scroll of Amnesia and reset your progress. This gives back all of your skill points that you can now use again.

What are the gates in the Minecraft Passive Skill Tree mod
The Passive Skill Tree mod features a unique gateway system that allows you to access diagonally opposite areas on the skill tree. This is useful since you have only 85 points to use for the entire skill tree.
Simply unlock a skill connected to one of the gates to unlock the diametrically opposite gate and access that area of the skill tree. Currently, there are three types of gates in the Passive Skill Tree mod:
- Spiritual Gateway
- Dimensional Gateway
- Astral Gateway
Use these to open up major areas in the skill tree. This is great for players who do not wish to commit to just one class and prefer a round and balanced build throughout.
