Minecraft player accidentally creates Eye of Mordor-like optical illusion in-game

Minecraft players have always used the game to show off its creative potential. From creating large fictional and real cities to complex machines and even computers, it is astounding to see what people can come up with. One of the best things about Minecraft is that it lets players create a world that they have always wanted to visit, a world that only exists in fiction. And sometimes, this can be the dark and fiery world of The Lord of the Rings.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named back_arrow shared a GIF on the game's subreddit showing how they accidentally created an optical illusion using deep slate bricks and lava. While the build looks very simple, one cannot help but notice the similarity between his creation and the Eye of Sauron. If placed on a tall tower, it would look exactly like the Eye of Sauron from the movies.

A user named H-J__04 commented that now they know how to make Mordor in Minecraft. Mordor is the region Sauron ruled over in Middle Earth, and the location where the Eye of Sauron is present. The original poster replied to the comment saying they used two blocks of deep slate bricks between two layers of glass on both sides with lace around the pupil.

Another user named _tronnex said that the build was awesome and asked wouldn’t it be better if they placed redstone in the middle to make the appearance redder. User chezgt said that they are going to recreate it in their game, while user DoubleDecaff mentioned that this is a structure that you do not see, rather it sees you. User TheIronzombie39 said that they had built something like this years ago.

User Gortecz asked someone to make a tall tower and add this structure before uploading it while user EtheriousLucifer said they would try making it in their base as it already needs a new tower.
