Minecraft isn’t just about making bases or exploring caves, it’s also a game where players can unleash their inner engineer. And Redstone is an item that makes that happen. It works like electricity, and using this, players have created some of the most impressive and complicated machines that their creativity allows.

From simple contraptions like doors that open with the press of a button to fully automated farms and even working calculators, redstone allows players to turn their ideas into functioning creations. While most players want their design to be simple yet effective, some of them take a different route.

Minecraft player and Redditor Bumble_Leee shared some images on the game's subreddit of a their design. While the caption stated that the pictures featured a three-by-three redstone door that was made without the help of any tutorial, the structure looked excessively complicated. It is almost impossible to figure out where the door is, or how it works.

The original poster also added that building this simple thing was much more complicated than it seemed and added it takes a long time for the gate to open when the entire contraption is activated.

glarble04 joked that one can press the open button, put the kettle on, and by the time the gate opens, the tea will be ready. Fatperson115 said that they wanted to see how long it takes the door to open and close.

CreepyFire1 told the original poster that they would be shocked to know how easy it is to build this structure if they looked up a tutorial and used the observer blocks. OP replied that they had forgotten these blocks existed.

ABYZZ9 said OP is doing too much to make a small thing. OP replied that it worked. psychoPiper added that it is the best way to learn how redstone works and asked the design to be refined and made more efficient.

Minecraft players have taken creativity to the next level by using redstone to build amazing machines and automated systems. Redstone lets players design everything from simple doors that open by stepping on a pressure plate to complex systems like automated farms, secret bases, and even working computers.

Some of the most popular redstone builds are automatic farms. These setups let players collect crops, mine blocks, or even harvest honey without doing all the work themselves. Then there are things like piston doors, hidden traps, and elevators that make bases feel high-tech and futuristic.

Speaking of futuristic, some talented builders have made things in Minecraft that seem impossible. These structures include fully functional displays, calculators, computers, and even the Minesweeper game inside the blocky world. These structures show how the game offers limitless possibilities, and how players utilize it to its maximum potential.
