Minecraft fans are always innovating new ways to create, and a recent Reddit post to the game's subreddit confirms this. On July 7, 2024, the user u/Telecomputer shared a short video clip detailing a parkour map that could infinitely generate new blocks to jump to, remarking that the map allowed them to "numb their mind" as they leap between newly made blocks in an infinite ascent through the sky.

In addition to comments of astonishment, Telecomputer also shared a download link to the world so that others could enjoy it as well. Fans were amazed that a player could program such an entertaining and oddly relaxing map, though some worried that the course would inevitably run out of space when it reached the build height limit. However, Telecomputer had an answer for that as well.

Because the blocks that generate on the course are shulkers, the blocks can technically generate past the build limit. Some players recommended the implementation of a Minecraft datapack to increase the height limit just in case. One user worried that so many shulkers would result in entity lag, but Telecomputer was convinced that it wouldn't be a major issue.

Telecomputer also updated the map recently to show parkour high scores and to address a handful of bugs, and fans still had more recommendations for future revisions. Players remarked that Telecomputer was pretty good at parkour in their demonstration video, to which the latter responded that there was also a toggleable Hard Mode in case fans needed more of a challenge.

It should be noted that since the map was created and coded on Minecraft version 1.21, it may not work on older versions. A few players tested it on older iterations of the game and determined that the map didn't function as intended, which might be something worth keeping in mind before downloading the parkour map's link.

While this infinite parkour map is simple when it comes to overall design, it's still a technical achievement on Telecomputer's part. Every day, some of the most innovative members of the game's community share some truly remarkable creations that work well outside the bounds of what many fans consider possible within the game engine.

From infinite parkour maps to entire supercomputers made of redstone and more, the community is always defying expectations of what can be accomplished in Minecraft. With just a little extra knowledge and determination, fans have been able to build some creations that even Mojang likely didn't expect to be possible.

Hopefully, Telecomputer has even more intriguing map designs they can share in the future, as their infinite parkour map has become an undeniable hit on social media sites and will likely be used by parkour fans the world over.
