A Minecraft player and Redditor, u/zydryx0, shared a short video on the game's subreddit. The clip shows the player walking out of a very basic beginner's house, only to use elytra and fireworks to fly into a massive replica of the same house. The build is so large that the game does not even load the entire structure at once.
It is impressive how the builder has managed to recreate the texture of different blocks like the crafting table and the furnace using other blocks.
Reacting to the build, user u/IntelligentDust8044 said that it reminded them of those old Minecraft maps. Another user, u/Futurecraft5MC, suggested that placing slime blocks under the carpets for the top layer of the bed would ensure that players would just bounce, canceling the fall damage.

At the start of the video, User u/blue4029 explained how at the start of the video, they assumed the original poster took almost two years to build a small house in Minecraft. Only later did they realize that it was a different house.
Another user named u/MangoBrando said that this post should have more interaction owing to how cool the build was. The scale of the build also confused many because of how accurate the large blocks looked. User u/PolyNomy19 was impressed by the fact that the structure was built in Survival mode.
User u/livinonaprayer456 said that the large house reminded them of the Twilight Forest mod that added giant structures to the game. Another user, u/Ok_Word3159, thought the OP was talking about the average-sized home until they flew into the larger one.
Impressively large structures in Minecraft
Minecraft players often build large structures in the game using different types of blocks. These structures include castles, towers, bridges, entire cities, and even fictional countries. Players use blocks like stone, wood, glass, and concrete to design various sections of their builds.
Planning plays an important role in creating large structures. Players often begin with a blueprint or a sketch to decide the layout and size. Breaking the project into smaller sections allows the builder to focus on completing one part at a time. This approach helps maintain the structure's proportions and overall design.
Resource gathering is another key step, with players collecting materials such as stone, wood, and decorative blocks before starting the project. However, this step can be ignored in the Creative mode where there is an unlimited supply of every item in the game.
