Minecraft and Geometry Dash are pretty different games, but they clearly have crossover appeal among fans. This fact was brought to a head when the player u/CraftyMasterman on Reddit shared a new redstone build they had been working on for over six months. Specifically, they managed to recreate Geometry Dash within the engine of Mojang's sandbox title.

Starting development in October 2023, the Geometry Dash build uses countless redstone-compatible blocks and was a collective project on a server between CraftyMasterman and a few of their friends. It ultimately culminates in a machine that emulates the gameplay of Geometry Dash and even comes complete with a level editor and variable framerates, as well as a simple-to-use interface.

With the implementation of a small PC-like block, CraftyMasterman and their collaborators introduced a way to play Geometry Dash in Minecraft much like they would on a computer platform. The redstone logic used is nothing short of incredible and is documented by an accompanying YouTube video via CraftyMasterman's channel.

As one might expect, Minecraft fans were completely blown away by the creation, even more so because the Geometry Dash recreation runs entirely on redstone blocks. No mods or command blocks were involved, and many players simply couldn't believe what they were seeing when CraftyMasterman first shared the build on Reddit and YouTube.

The fact that CraftyMasterman and their friends were able to construct something so incredibly complex over the course of six months is nothing short of astonishing. When it comes to redstone blocks of this complexity, even a single misplaced redstone block can cause immense issues for the build, yet this Geometry Dash recreation is fully functional, a testament to the builders.

According to CraftyMasterman, fans can download the world the build is contained in by joining their Discord channel, which can be found in the description for their YouTube video showing off the Geometry Dash recreation. There is no doubt that many players will likely flock to the Discord channel to enjoy the Geometry Dash action, all within the confines of Minecraft, no less.

Though it was far from the first creation to do so, CraftyMasterman's collaborative Geometry Dash creation is another remarkable example of just how much redstone can accomplish on its own in Minecraft without being used in tandem with mods or command blocks. With enough knowledge of redstone signal logic, the sky is the limit for the kinds of redstone machines that players can build.

Obviously, Minecraft does have its limits, which do extend to redstone builds. However, the fact that dedicated players can create entire video game recreations within Mojang's sandbox title is a staggering display of potential. Other fans have created entire functional computers with their own operating systems, terraforming machines, and countless complex electronics that utilize circuit logic.

It can take years to learn the ins and outs of the nuances of Minecraft's redstone functionality down to its finest details. However, those who are willing to take the plunge can be rewarded for their efforts with some of the most incredible creations that Mojang's sandbox game has ever seen as well as the appreciation and admiration of the title's community at large.
