Mojang released a new Minecraft snapshot, 23w43a, where they brought a surprise change to bats. They essentially changed the entire texture of these small creatures. Bats now have much larger ears, smaller wings, different types of eyes, and even a small purple nose. Overall, they have become much cuter and smaller than before. However, everything else related to them is the same.
Soon after the latest snapshot was released, a Redditor named 'JoeFly2009' posted two pictures of bats on Minecraft's official subreddit. The captions asked the community for their opinion on the new bat texture.
