Deferred Graphics Packs are essentially texture packs that utilize the Deferred Rendering technology mentioned above. It is essentially a 3D computer graphics technique that computes the lighting for a particular scene after the geometry has been rendered.

Deferred rendering splits lighting calculations into multiple screen-sized buffers, known as the G-buffer. The first phase of deferred rendering renders the scene's geometry into the G-buffer, which contains information like positions, normals, and materials.

It can reduce the complexity of lighting calculations and only calculates visible pixels. It also makes it easier to implement post effects like Bloom, SSR, and SSAO, as seen in Minecraft Poggy's Luminous Dreams pack.

The Deferred rendering technique requires a compatible graphics card with Multiple Render Targets (MRT), Shader Model 3.0 or later, and additional support for Depth render textures. Most PC graphics cards made after 2006 support deferred rendering, allowing you to enjoy the stunning visuals of Minecraft Poggy's Luminous Dreams pack.
