Minecraft recently got the much-awaited Tricky Trials update that added a ton of new content to the game, including two mobs, a weapon, and a palatial structure called the trial chambers. Moreover, the title got fresh artwork on July 3, 2024. On its website and X profile, Mojang Studios revealed the new pictures for the game on all platforms.
More details on the artwork update can be found below.

The new images shared by Mojang Studios look fresh and vibrant. They look bright and have rich colors as well as an animated quality to them. All these new pictures will now replace the older artwork for the title found across all platforms. The changes will affect game boxes, PC launchers, and digital storefronts like the Microsoft Store, the PS Store, etc.
An artwork update is a great way to show players what the game offers. The new main image for the game features the logo of Minecraft and is quite interesting. It shows Steve and Alex running towards the camera, while Noor is gliding using the elytra. One can also see almost all the biomes in the game.
In terms of showing all the different mobs and areas of the game, this image does a much better job than the previous ones. One can see the newly added mobs such as the Allay and the frog. But here’s something more interesting.
Keen-eyed fans of the game might have noticed that the artists have placed the crafter block on the left side of the new main image in the distance. The crafter block was added to the title in the Tricky Trials update. Another new addition from the latest patch shown in this picture is the wind charge.
On the right, one should be able to notice a player fighting a zombie near the abandoned mine entrance. Here, a blast can be seen, which occurs when a gamer uses wind charge in Minecraft.
The things missing from the artwork update are the deep dark area found at deeper levels in this game and the newly added trial chambers, Minecraft 1.21's highlight. While it is difficult to show the deep dark, perhaps the artists could have given a slight hint featuring the trial chamber’s green and orange copper blocks.
