Minecraft is about to get new content and fans are more than excited for it. The addition of a new mob, or a new biome is always a welcome one, and it seems that this time we are getting both. Mojang Studios accidentally leaked some crucial information about the upcoming update on their official website. This included a possible new biome called the “pale garden” as well as the “Creaking,” a hostile mob.

While the leaks did not reveal much, Mojang Studios have shared some images and a video on their social media handles, teasing the new Creaking mob and the pale garden biome. The official Instagram handle posted an image showing the death screen.

The reason for death has been blurred out as it might reveal the name of the upcoming mob. What’s interesting is the background, which shows the biome. Apart from the familiar dirt block and torch, there seems to be a new block in the frame. This block has a texture of pale gravel or diorite but with grass growing on it.

Currently, no such block in Minecraft that looks like that can grow grass. This image hints at what the new pale garden might look like. Whether this new biome will be underground or on the surface remains to be seen. We might also get a new tree and wood type, perhaps the pale wood.

It is worth noting that Mojang Studios teased the heavy core block and the mace in a very similar way. The developers shared an image showing a death screen with the heavy core block in the background.

New mob coming to Minecraft

Minecraft Live is scheduled for September 28, and it will be live-streamed on the official social media channels. This event will be quite special as Mojang Studios is bringing some major changes to the update structure.

In a recent blog post, the developers announced the retirement of Mob Vote, one of the most important parts of these live events. They also mentioned that the updates will be smaller but more frequent, focusing on adding more content to the game. This is great news for Minecraft fans as now, they can get more new content compared to one major update every year.

Minecraft Live also got a change. Instead of being hosted once every year, it will now be hosted twice. This is another great news for players as it allows the developers to get feedback from the community and add content to the game based on it.
