Minecraft teases mob vote losers with ghostly cameos in the Office Party event

Mojang is currently hosting a public server on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, called Eerie Office Party. The developers created a fun fictional version of their offices and showcased how each game feature is made. Since mob vote has been a long-standing mini-event by Mojang, they also showed various mobs that were planned by the developers.

Moreover, Mojang also displayed certain mob vote losers as ghosts in one section of the server. Read on for the details.

Where are mob vote losers located in the Minecraft Office Party event server?

First, players must know where the mob vote losers are located in the Office Party event. They can join said event by launching Bedrock Edition and selecting "Join Event" from the bottom left corner of the main menu. After entering the server, they can use an item in their Hotbar to teleport to other areas of the Office Party.

To find mob vote loser ghosts, they have to head to the Idea Vault. Once they get teleported to the different server where the Idea Vault is located, they will be able to play a parkour run in it, where they will see various mob vote losers as ghosts.

They will see mobs like Penguin, Glare, Crab, and other mobs that Mojang introduced but never added to the game, since they did not receive enough votes. Interestingly, they were portrayed as ghosts since they were monochromatic with just a faint blue hue, and players could see through them.

The reason why mob vote was removed from Minecraft Live

While players will see lots of mob vote losers in the Idea Vault area of the Office Party event, they will no longer see any new mob vote losers in future events. This is because Mojang recently scrapped the mob vote mini-event for future Minecraft Lives. Before the last Minecraft Live that took place in September 2024, the developers released a blog post saying that they would no longer conduct them.
