Minecraft The Garden Awakens won't have any new achievements

The Garden Awakens Drop is a new update Mojang will soon release for Minecraft on December 3, 2024. This update features the new Creaking mob and the Pale Garden biome. Additionally, it will also feature new building blocks made with resin bricks and pale oak wood. While Mojang has always attached achievements and advancements with new features, they have not yet added any of them with the upcoming drop.

When players enter a new world, they can perform certain activities to unlock achievements in Java Edition and advancements in Bedrock Edition. All these milestones are either attached to mobs, crafting certain items, or blocks, exploring biomes, entering dimensions, etc. Whenever these milestones are achieved, players receive a certain amount of XP points based on the difficulty of that milestone.

With most new updates Mojang has released, they have added new features like items, biomes, and blocks. In addition to these features, they have also added advancement and achievements related to them. In updates like 1.16, 1.17, 1.18, 1.19 1.20, and 1.21 versions, the developer has added at least one milestone connected to new features.

These advancements encourage players to explore the new features in an update and get XP by completing them.

Ever since Mojang announced that they were going to change their development cycle by releasing more game drops and fewer major updates, they have stopped making any achievements or advancements for the new features as well.

In the Bundles of Bravery update, the developer did not release any new milestone in any edition of the game, even though new bundles were introduced and Bedrock Edition received the hardcore mode.

Similarly, the upcoming The Garden Awakens Drop will not receive any achievements or advancements as well. As of now, no snapshot or beta/preview version has mentioned any new milestone added with new features like Pale Garden or Creaking mob.

Only the old milestones like 'Monster Hunter' and 'Adventuring Time' will be connected to the new Creaking and Pale Garden biome, respectively.
