The wildflower in Minecraft can be found in birch forests, old growth birch forests, and meadows. Head to any of the three biomes and look for the signature yellow and white clump of flowers on the ground, as shown above. There may be different amounts in one block space, adding to the variety and immersion in-game.
The wildflower can be spotted by its distinct lack of any stalk or height — almost like a colorful variant of moss. You will usually find this flower at the base of trees or around them. Harvesting it is a rather simple task — you can break it with your bare hands or use tools like an axe or pickaxe.

How to use wildflower in Minecraft
Apart from being a wonderful choice to decorate your favorite base or village, the wildflower serves a host of other purposes. You can use it to craft yellow dye.
Simply place one wildflower on the crafting bench to receive one unit of yellow dye. This is a great way to craft this shade if you are having trouble finding dandelions or sunflowers.
Just like any other flower, bees can pollinate with the wildflower and can also be bred using it. Additionally, oak, cherry, and birch trees grown from saplings within two blocks of the flower have a chance to grow with a bee nest, making it a great choice if you wish to build your own apiary in the game.

What does wildflower do in Minecraft?
The wildflower does not serve any special purpose in Minecraft apart from being a great decorative block and a source of yellow dye. Unlike the eyeblossom, which was released as part of The Garden Awakens drop, this flower cannot be used to make any foodstuff to give status effects.
However, the dainty floral addition possesses certain qualities that should come in handy if you are looking to decorate your base or village with it. Using bonemeal will produce more wildflowers, which you can simply pick up and place as desired. Additionally, you can place up to four of them in the same block space in four different orientations.
