As previously mentioned, WTHIT is a HUD mod that adds a UI element that tells players exactly what they're looking at. It gives you the name of the item, as well as an image of it in item entity form. You'll also be informed about the proper tool to break the item, making it easy to grab new blocks that you encounter while out and about.

The UI also includes the source of the item. This makes it a great mod to include in a custom Minecraft modpack, as seeing what mod an item is from makes figuring out progression much easier.

Thankfully, there is a version of this mod for both Minecraft Fabric and Forge, meaning you can add it to almost any modpack out there.

While the name of this Minecraft mod might seem like an assortment of random numbers, it's actually an acronym. "WTHIT" is a shorthand for the sentence "What the hell is that?" This is an obvious reference to the fact that the mod will tell you exactly what you're looking at, essentially answering that very question.

Next, you'll want to use your launcher's content browser to find the mod. On CurseForge, you can use the search bar near the top of the screen. If you're on Modrinth, you'll need to use the magnifying glass icon on the lefthand side of the screen to switch to the content browser and switch to the "Mods" tab. Then, you'll see a search bar for use.

You can use the search term "WTHIT" on both platforms. You can also use one of the links above, depending on which launcher you're using.

This button will be orange on CurseForge and green on Modrinth. Hitting this button will prompt you to either add the mod to a profile you've already made or create a new one for it. You can use either option, depending on your needs.
