Minecraft and MCC (Minecraft Championship) will soon host a joint tournament on July 27. For several years now, MCC has unofficially hosted tournaments that featured several famous content creators playing various mini-games and competing against each other. Millions of players witnessed these matches since they had their favorite streamers or video creators. This time, however, Mojang Studios themselves have collaborated with MCC to host one under the name: Ender Cup.

This article details everything to know about the Ender Cup, including what game modes it will feature, when it is, and all the names of the teams.

How will the Ender Cup progress?

First, all 10 teams will join a custom-built server and wait for the tournament to begin. They will then head to the decision dome, where they will cast their votes on which game mode they want to play.

There will be eight modes in total, in which teams will win coins. These coins are essentially points that they need to collect to stay on top of the leaderboard. With each game mode, the coin multiplier will increase, starting from 1x, and ending at 3x. This will raise the stakes for winning as the tournament progresses.

Finally, the top two teams with the most coins will head into the finals, which will be a dodgebolt game. This mode is a best-of-five archery game, where both teams will shoot and knock each other off the platform.

Though this is the first time MCC is officially collaborating with Minecraft, the game modes and the general progression of the game will be the same. The only part that will be different is the overall aesthetic of the tournament and unique maps for each game mode.
