Minecraft x MCC event: How to find lost pearl in Aqua Axolotl challenge

One of the most exciting parts of the official Minecraft x MCC crossover is the possibility of unlocking yet another stylish cape. This cape will be given to those who manage to complete a series of 15 different challenges, which can be found detailed within the event server. Each different team has a unique challenge.

The lost pearl is the quest item found within Grid Runners. It is required to complete the Aqua Axolotl team challenge. Everything you need to know about finding this elusive collectible is detailed below.

Steps to get the lost pearl for the Minecraft Championship Aqua Axolotl challenge

1) Launch Bedrock

The official Minecraft Championship crossover event is only being hosted on Bedrock. This means that you must launch this version of the game to find the lost pearl.

2) Join the MCC challenge server

Once you've loaded up Bedrock's main menu, you'll want to hit the "Join the Event" button on the left-hand side of the screen. This will allow you to join the MCC event's server.

Make sure to hit "Yes" if prompted to install any Minecraft resource packs, as these will be required to join the server.

3) Buy the Aqua Axolotl Beanie

Since the lost pearl is part of the Aqua Axolotl team challenge, you'll need to equip the team beanie. Buying one of these items from the Minecraft server's shop will cost 250 coins. Either run around spawn and collect coins until you have enough or play a minigame or two to earn enough.

Once you've bought the Aqua Axolotl beanie, use the cosmetics tab to equip it.

4) Join a game of Grid Runners

Once you've got the beanie on, you'll need to make your way over to the Grid Runners Minecraft minigame. Join the queue and wait to play.

Once in a game, play normally until you reach the sprint to the end. Instead of running to the end, turn left. There should be a floating bubble in one of the pools.

5) Grab the lost pearl

Collecting the pearl is quite easy. Once you grab it, a screen will appear letting you know that you've unlocked a unique character creator item. Hit the "Claim" on the screen that appears and move on to the finish line to complete your run.
