Shaders and other best mod features that should be added to Minecraft
1) Shader Support
Shaders are one of the most extensive areas of customization in Minecraft that players engage in. These packs can transform your vanilla world into high-detailed universes with unique visuals and changes for fauna, flora, lighting, and more. Despite the overwhelming popularity, there is no official support for shaders.
Mods like Iris and Optifine are great for implementing shaders in the game till Mojang listens to player feedback and adds this popular customization feature. Shaders in Minecraft can also be augmented by the addition of render mods like Distant Horizons, which can greatly improve the gameplay experience.
2) Minimap
A Minimap is one of the most interesting Minecraft mods that could be added to the game. The traditional map in Minecraft is rather difficult to use and it's not the most user-friendly item in the game. A minimap on the screen can be a great asset in exploring endless worlds and charting new territory.
Popular minimap mods like Xaero's Minimap give players a taste of how intriguing and immersive the addition of a minimap can be to the gameplay. The ability to add waypoints or track particular areas can be a great asset as well.

3) Veinminer
If you yearn for the mines and head down to the deep to mine some precious resources, the veinminer feature will be the perfect addition. Rather than individually mining each block, this feature will allow breaking a block and its surrounding ore blocks at once.
Miraculixx's Veinminer mod already gives players an idea of how this feature can be easily implemented in the game. This feature would be great for saving time and a handy asset when mining resources like iron and copper.
4) Backpacks
One of the most persistent features that Minecraft players have asked for is the implementation of backpacks in the game. It is actually quite logical since the game offers a player inventory but it never gets shown where the items are being stored. The addition of backpacks could solve the long-standing question.
The addition of backpacks could be enhanced by adding tiers to the item, like weapons. These backpacks could be a great way to expand your inventory or provide unique buffs to speed and movement based on tiers. Mods like P3pp3rF1y's Sophisticated Backpacks show the tremendous potential of adding this feature to the game.

5) Voice chat
Minecraft has a rather extensive gaming community with over 170 million active players. Co-op and multiplayer are a huge part of the game's experience and include modes such as SMPs and the massively popular Realms. But the game lacks a voice chat feature, so players rely on third-party services like Discord on Teamspeak.
It's time Minecraft implemented its own voice chat system. It'll be a great addition and feature for multiplayer gameplay as well as on custom servers and lobbies. Mods like Simple Voice Chat by henkelmax with over 8 million downloads have shown the growing demand and need for this feature in the game.
6) Teleportation
Teleportation is a feature that players have been consistently asking for as a way to traverse and navigate the seemingly endless world of Minecraft. It would essentially allow players to transport themselves to and from fixed points in the world, like using the teleport command in the game.
Teleportation mods like Waystones by BlayTheNinth allow the placement of custom waystones or portal devices that can transport players across large distances in exchange for resources or charging said device. This would be a great way to explore large areas of the map rather than be limited by traveling on foot, riding animals, or using a boat or an elytra.
