Minecraft Realms is one of the most popular features in the game, which allows players to host their personal servers to play online with friends. As of the latest reports and this writing on October 16, 2024, Minecraft Realms is facing issues, and players are unable to log in or access realms. Players are unable to access realms or enter their servers.

Many players are unable to access Minecraft Realms, with several players reporting outages and other problems while trying to log in to their servers. Most of these issues were isolated to Realms, and players are unable to access their own servers currently. The Realms tab is unavailable for many players as they are getting error messages while trying to log in.
Mojang has issued no official update as to why the popular server service of Minecraft is down. Realms has been plagued with a host of downtime recently, and with another one on their hands, players aren't pleased.

Minecraft Realms is down and players are not happy
Realms is one of the core services of the game, which allows players to host servers and play with their friends or in PVP modes. With Realms inaccessible players are not too happy:

When will Minecraft Realms be back
Mojang has not provided any update for this sudden outage of Realms. They have not made any official statement or post so far and there is no clear timeline as to when Realms will be back online.
Since this is an essential live service, players can expect this issue will be fixed quite urgently. Players can still play Minecraft offline and can go hunting for the creaking in the Pale Garden while they wait for Mojang to feed the servers some suspicious stew and get it back online.
