The name “Bundles of Bravery” comes from the two major drops: Hardcore mode in Bedrock Edition and the addition of bundles in Minecraft. This is great news for both the Java and Bedrock editions of the game.
For years, players have been asking for a Hardcore mode for the Bedrock Edition, but for some reason, Mojang Studios did not comply. The Java Edition has had a Harcore mode for years. Finally, the wait is over for a majority of the game’s player base. Bedrock Edition is available for PC, consoles, and mobile devices. All the players who play the game on these devices can finally try out the Hardcore mode.
How bundles will improve Minecraft
Coming to the second part of the update, Mojang Studios has added bundles to the game, potentially solving a major problem that players have had for years. The player’s inventory storage is limited, and the only way to expand the storage is by getting the shulker box.
The problem with the shulker box is that it can only be obtained at later stages of the game. The End dimension has shulker boxes, and getting there requires a lot of progress. Bundles fix this problem. It also improves the inventory management in Minecraft.
Since bundles can be dyed, it also allows players to keep specific items in color-coded bundles. For example, players can keep all redstone-related items in a red bundle, while every diamond tool and weapon can be stored in a blue bundle. This greatly improves inventory management since there are no colored chests in the game.
Minecraft Live has been changed as well. Instead of being a once-a-year event, it will be held twice every year. Moreover, instead of delivering one major update every year, Mojang Studios will be focusing on adding smaller updates to Minecraft more frequently.
