Minecraft announces free official MC Championship Cape

Things have been nothing short of exciting for Minecraft players ever since the game completed its 15th anniversary. With the release of the Tricky Trials update and a ton of free items to claim, it appears that the fun is not going to stop any time soon. The Minecraft Championship is hosting the much-awaited The Ender Cup on July 27, and while players cannot participate in it unless they get an invite, they can get the free official MC Championship Cape.

How to get the Minecraft Championship Cape

The MCC Cape is a special item that is part of the MC Championship and Minecraft's 15th-anniversary party. To get the cape, you must decipher a cryptic challenge that you will get in the form of an image. You will have to decipher these clues. Along with that, there will be a total of 15 challenges that you must complete to unlock the MC Championship Cape.

The Ender Cup will stream on July 27 at 6 pm BST/ 10 am PDT/ 1 pm EDT. There will be a total of 40 streamers taking part in the challenge, competing head-to-head with each other for a spot in the final. You can watch the participants’ streams or visit the official The Ender Cup website to do so.

The entire event, along with the challenges for viewers, will start from July 22 and last until August 4. Apart from the challenge, you can also play various mini-games, such as Ace Race, Grid Runners, and Sands of Time. Winning in these games will earn you coins that work as in-game currency and can be used to buy special items from the shop.

These items include hats, toys, gadgets, and even some snacks with special effects to them. Suffice it to say, the mini-games will not only be fun to play but also offer rewards that you can use in the game.
