Minecraft announces Summer Celebration sale for Bedrock Marketplace

Minecraft is taking advantage of the summer season with its very own Summer Celebration sale, according to a recent announcement by Mojang and an in-game pop-up across Bedrock Edition platforms. The sale will involve several pieces of content on the Bedrock marketplace and will remain in effect until July 16, 2024. Each day will bring new discounts that some players won't want to miss.

Discounted content for Minecraft Bedrock includes add-ons, skin packs, maps, and more with price reductions of up to 75%, or possibly even more based on how the sale unfolds each day.

Moreover, Mojang debuted a new free adventure map known as Trial Chamber Legends on July 2, 2024, providing a way for fans to learn more about the Tricky Trials update's trial chambers while they play.

How to access discounted content during the Minecraft Summer Celebration sale

Although you can spend a significant amount of time perusing the Minecraft Marketplace to find the many deals available during each day of the Summer Celebration sale, there's an easier way to browse. Specifically, the marketplace possesses a sale tab that will showcase any content that has had its price reduced during the sale and beyond.

You can access the sales tab in the Minecraft Marketplace on any Bedrock-compatible platform with these steps:

1. Start up your copy of Bedrock Edition on any compatible platform. At the main menu, sign in to your Microsoft account if you haven't done so already. Then, click on the marketplace button.
2. On the sidebar to the left of the marketplace screen, there should be an icon with three horizontal lines. Tap it. This will expand the sidebar menu and allow you to scroll up and down the marketplace categories as needed.
3. There should be a category marked "Sale!" on the sidebar. Click on this, and the marketplace should reorganize its main screen with all of the discounted content made available during the Summer Celebration as well as future sales.
