When could the inventory UI update come to Minecraft?
Mojang hasn't given any update as to when this experimental feature will be made available to the public. The game is known to push many early-access features and experimental concepts as part of betas and previews so players can expect it to arrive as part of upcoming previews in the near future.
The current version of the new inventory UI available to developers and add-on creators features just the hotbar as part of the HUD items. Future updates could showcase the final look of additional features like the status effect marker, tooltips, and much more.
