Minecraft movie leaks might just be real, as leaked content gets removed from online platforms

The Minecraft live-action movie is on the way, scheduled to be released on April 4, 2025. We are yet to get a trailer, teaser, or even an official image for the movie to get an idea about how things might look. However, two supposedly leaked images recently made the rounds on social media platforms such as X and Reddit, showing what different mobs would look like. It also showed the look of Steve, played by Jack Black, and fans were not too happy about how everything looked.

These leaked images were not 100% genuine and could have been fake. But it seems that they might just be real, as all the leaked photos have been removed from various online platforms, including Reddit and X. Before the leaks, fans only knew about the cast of the movie and that Jack Black was going to play the role of Steve while Jason Mamoa was supposed to take the negative role. In an interview, Black also revealed that the movie will be about the main character's origin story, but nothing was revealed apart from that.

The leaked images showed how some mobs, such as the creeper, the bee, and the sheep, were designed. The mobs had realistic textures yet an animated look to them, giving them an eerie appearance. Jack Black was seen holding a stone pickaxe. At the same time, he did look like Steve and his long beard stood out a lot.

As we mentioned, these could be concept images that were meant to just give an idea of how to make the mobs. Likely, the final versions of the mobs will not be like the leaked images at all. This could also be the reason why Warner Bros Studios is taking down the leaked images, as it creates a negative idea around the movie; no one can judge the final version of the movie by seeing the initial stages of its making.
