Minecraft reveals official trailer for The Garden Awakens update

Minecraft has finally released The Garden Awakens Drop update along with a spooky yet funny trailer. The game drop has been in the works for several months now and packs loads of new features like a fresh mob, biome, blocks, and items. The update is now out for all platforms that support either Java or Bedrock Edition. Along with an official blog post, Mojang has released a trailer on YouTube.

Minecraft's The Garden Awakens Drop revealed and released with an official trailer

Though trailers usually arrive before the official release of the product, Mojang disseminated the trailer and the actual update at the same time. With the new trailer for The Garden Awakens, fans also received the update.

In the trailer, two Minecraft characters with default skins named Kai and Efe were seen entering the new Pale Garden. They noticed how eyeblossom flowers were gradually opening and glowing bright orange, similar to the Creaking mob.

Efe was suspicious from the beginning and was hilariously startled by a chicken that popped out of the grass. Not long after, the new Creaking mob appeared and crept up on Efe while her back was turned.

As soon as the Creaking was detected by Efe, the chase began. When the in-game character was cornered, it turned and looked at the mob, making it freeze completely.

In the end, a chicken broke Efe's gaze from the Creaking, making the new mob active again. This hints at one of the unique features possessed by the new mob.

As mentioned above, The Garden Awakens Drop comes with the new Creaking mob and Pale Garden biome. The wood-like creature has a unique mechanic where it will only chase players if they are not looking at it. Furthermore, its heart is a block outside its body, making it invincible to any direct attacks.

Creaking must be hit several times for its heart block to secrete resin, a brand-new resource. Resin can be smelted into resin bricks, which can either be used to color armor trims or to create new building blocks.

Apart from that, Pale Garden offers a new white-colored wood block set and different moss blocks that are desaturated in color. Eyeblossoms are also a new flower variant in the biome that can be obtained in two states, open or closed, depending on the time of day they were plucked from the ground.
