Minecraft player and Redditor u/Ok-Annual-4108 recently shared some interesting pictures on the game's subreddit. The pictures showed how the user used beacons and stained glass to create incredible pixel art of different Minecraft mobs like the chicken, wandering trader, creeper, and spider head, among others.

The beacon lights worked as the background color while the OP used stained glass of different colors to add detail to the artwork. The aesthetic resembled the neon aesthetic of games and movies set in dystopian universes, especially Cyberpunk 2077.

Redditor u/Mr_Joyman had the same opinion as he reacted to the post saying:

Meanwhile, user u/RodcetLeoric stated that before they got better at spawn proofing, they used to set up a structure like this that would be activated before sundown. Once turned on, it would release a couple of fireworks to remind them to head back to the base. The original poster replied claiming that it was a cool idea.

At first glance, Minecraft looks like a game that only allows players to build simple structures, like blocky houses. However, creative builders have used different mechanics to create mind-blowing artworks.

Over the years, players have transformed this creative freedom into an art form, creating beautiful paintings, pictures, and structures that seem impossible.

One common type of artwork in Minecraft is pixel art. By arranging colored blocks to resemble pixels, players have been able to recreate famous images, characters, and scenes. These works range from simple designs to detailed recreations of paintings or digital art.

Some players focus on creating large-scale sculptures. These three-dimensional builds include statues of animals, fictional creatures, and human figures. Such creations often require careful planning and the use of tools to achieve precision.

Another popular form is architectural art. Players design complex buildings and structures, drawing inspiration from real-world architecture or fictional settings. Castles, skyscrapers, and entire cities have been built block by block, showcasing impressive building skills.

However, that’s not all, some artists use redstone, Minecraft’s equivalent of electricity, to make moving artwork. These include moving sculptures and even functional displays. The game’s community continues to push the boundaries of what can be built with blocks, turning the game into a canvas where players are able to show off their creative skills.
