As mentioned above, this mod allows players to hide armor and other frequently used and worn items like shields, weapons, capes, and even hats. However, this is a highly configurable mod, through which players can not only toggle armor visibility on and off but can custom set it to any value.

The image above showcases it perfectly as players can hide their armor and other gear by dragging the slider anywhere between 0% and 100%. Furthermore, they can remove the enchantment glint from the armor, which can be distracting for some. Though Minecraft has an option to alter the enchantment glint speed, this mod allows one to remove it completely, which is a welcome addition.

Each armor part has an individual visibility slider, allowing players to set what they want to show or hide.

This mod is also compatible with Minecraft servers, where one can choose to show or hide armor and gear that others have on. These are the settings that make the mod extremely configurable.

How to download and install the Show Me Your Skin Minecraft mod

Since Show Me Your Skin needs a GUI for players to set the visibility of each armor part and gear, the mod will only work well if it is paired with Mod Menu — a mod that shows the settings of all other installed mods.

Here is how players can download Show Me Your Skin! and Mod Menu for Minecraft Java Edition:

1. Download and install Fabric modding API for game version 1.21, as that's the latest game version the Show Me Your Skin! mod supports as of now.
2. Head to the CurseForge website and search for Show Me Your Skin and Mod Menu mods.
3. On the product page of these mods, make sure to find and download the mod file that is compatible with version 1.21.
